1. How to guide violent & hard-to-control people?
According to
Vimalakīrtinirdesa (Text from
GRETIL project), Vimalakirti talked to Bodhisattvas:
Bodhisattvas: "Tell me, what dharma does the Sakyamuni buddha, teach?
Vimalakirti: "Oh, Sons of good families, dwellers are hard to guide. Thus, he, the Sakyamuni buddha, teaches them the story for hard to control violent people."
Bodhisattvas: "What is that like, the control, or the story?"
Vimalakirti: "That is like, ...(the list of circumstances to live in, from the worst to the best)..."
"Like this way, by using the explanation with multiple dharma, the Sakyamuni buddha calm the violent dwellers down. Just like hitting acute spots to tame horses or elephants, he subjugates the violent dwellers by detailedly explaining duhkha stories."
2. The list of to be explained life to live
It seems a list of Buddhism concepts for Boddhisattvas to learn. "eṣām eṣa vipākaḥ" seems to refer every wrong doing mentioned above. Emphasized by me. [comments] added by me.
